DULUTH — Essentia Health and the Minnesota Nurses Association reached a tentative agreement for Miller Hill Surgery Center nurses on Thursday, Oct. 23.

The two parties have agreed to a first contract that covers roughly 23 nurses at the center located at 1600 Miller Trunk Highway in Building D. This labor contract will be effective through March 31, 2026.

“This agreement reflects hours of conversation and hard work done at the bargaining table,” Essentia's Chief Nurse Executive Rhonda Kazik said in a news release. “We extend our sincere gratitude to the members of each bargaining team for their dedication to finding solutions that recognize the contributions of our nurses, support high-quality patient care and ensure the sustainability of our organization.”
