Emergency services in East Lothian are set to remain at the scene of a fire overnight after residents were evacuated.
Fire crews were were called to the scene in Dunbar at around 12.58pm on Monday, October 27. Huge flames were seen coming from McArthur's Store on Victoria Street.
Several streets by the harbour were closed off, and homes evacuated as a precautionary measures. Residents got the all-clear to return home just after 5pm, though firefighters and police confirmed they would be on site overnight.
The historic building has been severely damaged by the blaze, with images from the scene showing the impact. The structure is a 'rare example' of an early 17th century harbour warehouse, and has been used as a store and workshop by Dunbar fishermen for years.
