MAHOPAC- Putnam’s 11th annual Veterans Appreciation Chow Down takes place today at the Putnam County Golf Course Main Ballroom in Mahopac.

The dinner will be hosted by the PFC. Joseph P. Dwyer Vet2Vet program and Guardian Revival.

“When it comes to veterans, there is no task too small,” said State Senator Peter Harckham, who added: “Without these incredibly brave men and women, our world would be completely different today. The very least we as a community can do is offer a special thank you and the 2025 Veterans’ Chow Down, a complimentary appreciation dinner, will allow Putnam County to recognize their service and sacrifice.”

The Chow Down will bring veterans together with their brothers and sisters in arms for a family-style meal.
