HIGH POINT, N.C. — Guilford County District Attorney Avery Crump said Monday that additional charges are expected in the case against former state Rep. Cecil Brockman, who is accused of sex offenses involving a 15-year-old boy.

Brockman, 41, of High Point, was arrested in early October and charged with two counts of statutory sex offense with a child 15 or younger and two counts of indecent liberties with a child. He remains in the Guilford County jail but saw his bond reduced from $1 million to $250,000 secured after a hearing Monday.

Under the modified bond, Brockman must live with his mother in High Point. His mother is reportedly a Guilford County Schools employee, and Brockman will be placed on electronic monitoring. The judge also prohibited him from accessing social media, using
