GREENSBORO, N.C. — UPDATE (November 4, 4:30 p.m.): According to the Greensboro Police Department, the man injured in Monday night's shooting remains hospitalized. Police say that robbery was the motive in the shooting.

Greensboro Police say a person is in the hospital after a shooting on East Bessemer Avenue on Monday night.
Officers say they responded around 9:30 p.m. in reference to an unknown problem. When they got on scene, they found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Police say the victim was taken to the hospital by EMS.
Police have not shared any information about a suspect or the identity of the victim. This is an active investigation.
