HAYTI, Mo. (WSIL) -- Hayti Police Department responded to a report of a stolen vehicle on November 4, 2025. Officers arrived at the 200 block of North Ash around 4 a.m. and gathered information about a stolen 2017 white Nissan Frontier.

Chief David Maclin said the suspect may have been accompanied by Kaniah Jennings, 18 from Portageville, who has been reported missing. The Portageville Police Department has listed her as missing from Portageville, Missouri.

Later that day, around 2:40 p.m., the Arkansas Poinsett County Sheriff's Department informed Hayti police they had one person in custody and had located the vehicle. Both the stolen vehicle and missing person investigations are ongoing.
