A Cambridgeshire school was closed on Thursday (November 6) due to issues with local water supply. Fen Drayton Primary School has confirmed it is currently shut following the disruption to the water supply.

People in Fenstanton, Northstowe, Fen Drayton, Over, and Longstanton reported issues with their water. Cambridge Water confirmed the issue was due to a major burst water main but the company managed to restore water to all areas at around 11am.

Cambridge Water said some customers may notice a change in the appearance of their water caused by trapped air bubbles but it is safe to use. Fen Drayton Primary School confirmed that it will be open as usual on Friday (November 7).
