NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — One person was injured after a kitchen fire broke out at a home in Donelson.

According to the Nashville Fire Department, crews were sent to a home in the 600 block of Truxton Court on Thursday, Nov. 6, to respond to reports of a kitchen fire.

A 911 caller reportedly told dispatch that someone was at the residence and kept going back inside.

When crews arrived, they said they observed heavy smoke and flames coming from the home. In addition, an injured resident was found outside the house suffering from burns on their body and face.
