Preston forward Milutin Osmajic has been slapped with a nine-match ban after being charged with racially abusing Burnley star Hannibal Mejbri.
It relates to an incident that happened in February during Preston and Burnley's goalless draw.
In the 57th minute of their Championship clash, Tunisia international Mejbri was left irate after a clash with Osmajic.
The match was delayed by several minutes while the referee spoke to the Burnley man.
After the match, Mejbri took to social media to accuse the Preston man of racist abuse.
The two teams faced each other just two weeks later in the FA Cup .
Mejbri was left out by Burnley boss Scott Parker and his teammates refused to shake Osmajic's hand .
