BEDFORD, Va. (WDBJ) - A woman was injured in an accident Monday morning, November 10, 2025, according to the Bedford Fire Department.

First responders were dispatched near the intersection of Joppa Mill Rd. and Scenic View Rd. in Bedford County at 5:37 a.m., according to officials.

The Bedford Fire Department found a woman trapped in an overturned vehicle. Crews removed the roof and the woman was taken to a hospital; she’s expected to be okay, first responders say.

VSP said one lane was blocked for nearly two hours.
