MARS HILL - Land of Sky Regional Council is working with the town board on a Small Area Plan for a parcel to potentially be used for either retail space or more than 20 housing units.

Kaitland Finkle, a regional planner with Land of Sky Regional Council, appeared before the board Nov. 3 to discuss the project.
