POWNAL — The Select Board wants the town to consider reuse options for the Old Town Hall building, but plans to make no final decisions until a lawsuit that could impact the Center Street property is concluded.

The board decided on November 13 to create a committee of residents to “research and discuss desired options for the future of the Old Town Hall and the feasibility for any future action regarding the Old Town Hall,” according to a notice posted on the town website and town Facebook page.

Residents who would like to serve on the committee are asked to email an expression of interest and their contact information.

Respondents also are asked not to “share your opinions or ideas” for the Old Town Hall in their email.
