BENNINGTON — Max Misch of Bennington pleaded guilty in a Bennington courtroom Thursday to one count of felony aggravated domestic assault, his second such conviction, in a plea deal with prosecutors that dismissed four other charges stemming from a domestic dispute last summer.

Misch was initially charged with four felony counts including kidnapping, aggravated domestic assault with a prior conviction, unlawful restraint, and sexual assault. He was also charged with a single misdemeanor count of interference with access to emergency services. Misch faced a possible life sentence on the kidnapping charge and an additional 24 years on the other four counts if he was found guilty.
