ASHEVILLE, N.C. —

A man has pleaded guilty to charges after authorities say he put hidden cameras in the bathroom at a local Starbucks.

William McAlpin Aycock IV, 39, of Asheville, pleaded guilty Thursday to two counts of felony secret peeping and two counts of felony third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

The charges stemmed from an Asheville Police Department investigation launched in May 2022 after employees at a Starbucks café discovered hidden cameras in the bathrooms.
