Stew Leonard tries viral butter-dipped ice cream trend

NORWALK, CT (WFSB) - Stew Leonard’s is getting in on a new social media trend.

Owner Stew Leonard Jr. posted a video of himself trying the viral TikTok trend of butter-dipped ice cream.

The video went up on the Stew Leonard’s Facebook page .

Leonard dips a cone of soft serve vanilla ice cream into a bowl of melted butter, then sprinkles some kosher salt on top.

“Who doesn’t like ice cream, who doesn’t like butter, who doesn’t like salt?” he asked. “Maybe my doctor doesn’t like salt. Not approved by my doctor.”

However, he did appear to enjoy it.
