WATERBURY, Conn. (WFSB) - A police investigation led to several search warrants and two arrests.
Members of the Vice and Intelligence Unit, Crime Prevention Unit, and Auto Theft Task Force carried out the searches around 10 a.m. on Nov. 20.
Police searched an apartment on Sullivan Street, a smoke shop on Charles Street, a gray/green BMW, and the person of 50-year-old Steven Echevarria of Waterbury.
Officers found cocaine, fentanyl, marijuana, crack cocaine, a 9mm handgun, and about $13,000 in cash.
Echevarria was charged with several offenses, including running a drug factory, possessing marijuana with intent to sell, and conspiracy to sell controlled substances.
Police said he also conspired to possess more than a half-ounce of cocaine or crack cocaine.
