NATCHITOCHES PARISH, La. (KALB) - Two people have been arrested on meth charges, according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities issued search warrants in the 300 block of Pearl Street and the 100 block of Kaffie Drive on November 20 after a lengthy investigation into drug trafficking.

Anastasia Watson, 35, was arrested for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and obstruction of justice.

Cedric Washington, 45, was arrested for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

Watson and Washington were booked into the LaSalle Correctional Facility. The seized evidence will be submitted to the crime lab for analysis.
