HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A woman is in critical condition after being pulled from the water roughly 50 yards off Kakaako Waterfront Park, near the surf break known as “Files.”
First responders got the call at around 1:45 p.m. Sunday for a woman in her 40s who was found facedown in the water.
Honolulu Ocean Safety Department said a rescue jet ski operator was deployed and quickly retrieved the woman and brought her to shore.
OSD said lifeguards initiated CPR before Emergency Medical Services took over.
EMS said they administered life-saving treatment and took her to the hospital for further care.
