A woman was airlifted to a hospital after being attacked by a dog in Salem County on Saturday, Nov. 22, authorities said.

At 12:55 p.m., troopers responded to a residence on Quinton-Marlboro Road in Quinton Township and found the injured woman, Christopher Postorino, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.

The woman was airlifted to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Postorino said.

The incident remains under investigation, Postorino said.
