NEWBERRY COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - The mother of two children who were shot in Newberry County on Sunday is now facing charges.
The Newberry County Sheriff’s Office said 28-year-old Tyresa Najae Cunningham and 21-year-old Tyleik Jaewon Sanders were arrested after a call to a home on Wilson Road just after 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
The sheriff’s office said responding deputies found two children, ages 4 and 2, shot at the scene. Deputies also discovered two other children, a seven-year-old and a four-month-old, were present at the time of the shooting. Cunningham was later identified as the mother of all four children.
