A driver was hurt Sunday when he lost control of his car and crashed into a house in Coopersburg, police said.
Coopersburg Police Chief Anthony Struss told lehighvalleylive.com the accident began just before 8:30 p.m. in the first block of East Station Avenue. The 45-year-old driver from Philadelphia struck the foundation of the residence, the chief said.
The driver was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest in Salisbury Township for treatment of injuries. A condition was not immediately available Monday morning.
A family was home when the crash happened, Struss said. No other injuries were reported.
The home sustained minor damage, Struss said. The car was towed from the scene.
Coopersburg police continue to investigate what led up to the accident.
