SCRANTON — A Wilkes-Barre man convicted by a federal jury of using a store as a front to traffic fentanyl was sentenced to more than 20 years in federal prison.
James Rodriguez Jr., 33, known as Mack Mulla, was convicted by the federal jury in June on charges of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute fentanyl and marijuana between Jan. 2021 and Jan. 2022.
According to a news release from U.S. Attorney Brian D. Miller, Rodriguez operated Mulla Fashion, a clothing store, which included a recording studio, located on Scott Street in Wilkes-Barre.
Rodriguez used the store as a front to sell fentanyl and marijuana to users and street level dealers, the news release says.
