LINCOLN, Neb. —

Two additional defendants have been added to a federal case involving the former executive director of the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission.

A federal grand jury indicted Hobert Rupe and Brent Zywiec in September. Court documents allege Rupe received "a stream of benefits" for years from Brent Zywiec, the co-owner of a Lincoln strip club.

In a superseding indictment filed Nov. 18, federal investigators name Dan Thomas as a partial owner of "The Office Gentleman's Club" and "The Night Before Lounge" alongside Brent Zywiec.

The indictment also names Shane Zywiec, alleging that both Brent Zywiec and Shane Zywiec received money that was not due to them to help a business owner retain his liquor license. The document alleges the owner would not have qualified for the lic
