TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - Actress Diane Keaton, who passed away last month, has left a legacy that still resonates in Tucson.
The Oscar-winning actress once owned a historic adobe home in Barrio Viejo, a neighborhood she described as timeless. Shelly O’Donin, the current homeowner, shared her personal connection to Keaton.
"I have been a huge Diane Keaton fan since the first time I saw her when I was 6 years old," O’Donin said. "I saw 'Sleeper' and I remember sitting there in my sister's bedroom on a little black and white TV."
O’Donin never imagined she would one day live in Keaton's former home. "And I told myself, maybe someday I’ll live in this lady's house," O’Donin said. "Now I should have been more specific. I thought I would live in her house and be her daughter or something."
