WATERLOO, Iowa — East High School has chosen Jason Strelow as the new head softball coach for the Trojans, according to the Waterloo Community School District.

Strelow, an alumnus of East High, will begin his role in the 2026 season, pending board approval. Strelow has been deeply involved in coaching, particularly in the travel softball circuit since 2014. He is known for his dedication to developing young athletes, having coached his five daughters over the past 11 years.

His teams have secured numerous state championships, competing against top programs in the Midwest.
