THREE people have been charged following a protest in defiance of Labour's proscription of Palestine Action.
Two women and one man have been charged after dozens of protesters gathered in the rain outside the UK Government's offices in Edinburgh last Tuesday afternoon for a silent demonstration organised by Defend Our Juries.
They wrote signs which read "I oppose genocide. I support Palestine Action", while a number of activists from the Scottish Palestine Solidarity Campaign also joined, wearing T-shirts which read "Genocide in Palestine. Time to take Action."
No arrests were made at the time, and the group sat in place for around an hour.
