TYLER, Texas — For today's edition of Tuesday Tails, meet Baron from the SPCA of East Texas.
Baron is a young Bassett mix who is roughly 5 months old. Like many dogs in East Texas, his story began on the streets. Several of his littermates didn’t survive. He came into the SPCA of East Texas' care with a broken leg, which was likely because he was hit by a car.
Now, he has recovered well, and he is estimated to be a medium dog.
The SPCA of East Texas is also in need of volunteers to bottle feed and also foster families to place cats and dogs. The SPCA of East Texas is located at 3393 W. Grande Blvd. in Tyler.
Adoption office hours are Tuesday through Saturday, by appointment only.
