PITTSBURGH —
Thanksgiving in Pittsburgh means it's time for the 35th annual YMCA Greater Pittsburgh Turkey Trot.

More than 8,000 are expected to participate in this year's event from all over the United States and beyond.
According to officials with P3R, runners have signed up from 38 states, Great Britain, France, Ireland, Australia, and Canada to support the YMCA food pantry programs and the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.
Road closures in Pittsburgh will begin at 6:30 a.m. and remain until 11 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning.
Parking restrictions will begin at 4:30 a.m. on race route roads. Vehicles that remain on the course after 4:30 a.m. will be towed.
