PITTSBURGH —

Shaler Township police are providing details on an arrest made by federal authorities early Tuesday morning.

Officials with the department told Pittsburgh's Action News 4 that at 10:20 a.m., law enforcement officers were called to the 900 block of Wible Run Road. Advertisement

The department said officers were dispatched after reports of a possible abduction.

Shaler police said their officers were not involved in the arrest, but that federal authorities took one man into custody.

No further details were released.

It is unclear if any charges have been filed.
