Chez Doris’s 10th annual Holiday Fair this Sunday celebrates the creativity and resilience of Montreal’s vulnerable women and is an opportunity to find handmade gifts crafted by women who are supported by the not-for-profit organization.
Items at the community-driven event will include jewelry, mittens and candles, plus new offerings like artisanal soaps, bath salts, body scrubs and pieces of Indigenous jewelry. And for the first time, women in the Chez Doris pre-employability culinary program will be serving soup to guests.
