1Caught on camera in the dark a suspect wanted for Northeast DC home burglary
Washington, DC – Just before dawn earlier this month, a man slipped into an unoccupied home on 12th Street NE, grabbed stolen items, and vanished — but not before surveillance cameras caught him in the act.
Around 3:48 a.m. on Monday, November 3, the suspect entered a residence in the 300 block of 12th Street, Northeast, while it was empty. After stealing an undisclosed amount of property, he fled the scene before officers could respond.
Video footage of the suspect was recovered and released publicly in an effort to identify the man. Surveillance images and a full video can be viewed here: https://youtu.be/uZgl4NgTa7E
The Metropolitan Police Department is now turning to the public for assistance. A reward
