ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. (WPTA) - A St. Joseph County police officer was injured in a crash on Saturday.
According to the St. Joseph County Police Department, Corporal Ray Warren was responding to slide-offs on U.S. 31 when a vehicle crashed into his patrol vehicle.
The department says Warren was determined to be in non-life-threatening condition, and the driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
In an update, the department shared Sunday that Warren has been treated and released from a local hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
The incident comes just weeks after a sheriff’s deputy was struck and killed while responding to a scene in Delaware County .
