On Monday at 1:57 a.m. a winter weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid for Tuesday between 3 a.m. and 1 p.m. for Fulton, Franklin, Adams, York and Lancaster counties.

"Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations between 1 and 3 inches and ice accumulations around a light glaze," says the weather service. "The snow may mix with sleet, freezing rain, or plain rain."

"Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions will impact the Tuesday morning commute," describes the weather service. "Slow down and use caution while traveling.
