On Monday at 1:57 a.m. a winter weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid for Tuesday between 1 a.m. and 1 p.m. for Cambria, Somerset and Bedford counties.
The weather service says, "Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches and ice accumulations around a light glaze."
"Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions will impact the Tuesday morning commute," explains the weather service. "Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1."
