KENTUCKY. (WFIE) - Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 2 crews say they are preparing for the predicted winter weather expected to make its way through the area Monday night.
According to a press release, pretreating activities began on Friday, prior to a front that deposited sleet in areas of the district on Saturday.
Officials say county crews began treating roads again Monday morning at 6 a.m.
Crews will remain on-call throughout the night to respond if they are needed.
On Tuesday morning, main routes will be treated with salt.
Drivers who plan to be on the road Monday night should check the forecast first and plan accordingly.
