CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The National Weather Service is warning residents in parts of West Virginia, Ohio, and Kentucky to prepare for slippery road conditions Tuesday morning.
A Winter Weather Advisory was in effect from 11 p.m. Monday to 1 p.m. Tuesday. Mixed precipitation is expected, with total snow accumulations of up to two inches and ice accumulations around a tenth of an inch.
The advisory covers northeast Kentucky, southeast Ohio, and central, northeast, northern, southeast, southern, and western West Virginia, including cities such as Charleston, Clarksburg, Beckley, Huntington, Marietta, and Belpre.
Monday night into Tuesday, cloud cover will continue, with a good chance of snow developing late. Total snow accumulation could reach up to 1 inch by Tuesday morning. Expect slippery
