PADUCAH, Ky. (WSIL) -- The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the entire region on Monday.

The advisory is in effect from 6 p.m. on Monday, December 1, to 6 a.m. on Tuesday, December 2.

The advisory is for all WSIL area counties in Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri and Tennessee.

Residents can expect mixed precipitation with up to one inch of snow and sleet and a light glaze of ice. This weather could make roads, bridges, and overpasses slick and hazardous.

Officials warn that the hazardous conditions might affect the Tuesday morning commute. Drivers are advised to slow down and exercise caution while traveling.
