CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - A double homicide at a Noda nightclub over the weekend is reopening old wounds for a Charlotte family who lost their loved one at the same place less than three years ago.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police responded to the shooting in the area of Queens Cabaret on Atando Avenue early Sunday morning.
Queens Cabaret confirmed in a post on social media that one of the victims was 29-year-old D’Andre Weaver, who the nightclub said was a beloved, loyal employee.
Reginald Moore lost his younger brother, Nicholas Cole, at the same nightclub, which was under a different name, in April 2023.
When Cole was killed, the business was named Diamonds Night Club.
Cole, like Weaver, was also working as a security guard, Moore said.
