CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) -A convicted killer and former porn actress has been ordered to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to the family of a local man she murdered in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, but she’s fighting the payment.

Chelsea Perkins was ordered by a federal judge to pay restitution to the estate and family of Matthew Dunmire, whom she killed in March 2021.

The hearing happened behind closed doors, and court officials have not announced the judge’s decision. But 19 Investigates found more information in court records.

Matthew Dunmire, an aspiring musician and father, was murdered at 31 years old in what prosecutors called a “revenge killing.” Perkins later pleaded guilty to a second-degree murder charge and gun charge, admitting she killed him.
