Laz Alonso teases that Avatar: Fire and Ash includes "a little treat" for fans of Tsu'tey. Alonso played the Na'vi character in the original Avatar film, where he was a skilled warrior who was at odds with Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) for much of the story. Jake and Tsu'tey ultimately fought together to defend Pandora from the RDA, but Tsu'tey died during the battle.

In a post celebrating Avatar: Fire and Ash 's world premiere, Alonso posted several images from the red carpet, and ended his caption by saying, "if you’re a #Tsu’Tey fan….. you may get a little treat" followed by a winking emoji.
