BLOUNT COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) - The William Blount High School student facing charges after bringing a gun on school property Monday stole that gun from a car, according to the Blount County Sheriff’s Office. A sheriff’s office representative also said more students had been charged and cited in connection to the case.

The original arrestee — a 17-year-old boy — has also been charged with burglary. On top of that, a 16-year-old boy has also been charged with burglary and false reporting, BCSO said, for stealing another gun from a car.

The BCSO spokesperson said officers found that gun and took the 16-year-old into custody.
