A hero shop worker was stabbed in the chest during a terrifying attempted robbery . Emergency crews raced to the House of Sher Mall on Wallace Street in Tradeston, Glasgow, at around 8.20pm on Monday, December 1, after a hooded thug stormed into the Food Asia supermarket and “pulled a blade” on staff. ‌

A man wearing a black jumper, black gloves and grey trousers can be seen marching into the store in CCTV footage, shared with our sister title Glasgow Live . He is carrying what appears to be a bladed weapon . ‌

He approaches the checkout and points the blade towards a staff member. The thug then taps the knife towards the till as a customer beside him attempts to flee, only to be blocked as the masked yob shoves him back and grabs his jacket ‌
