LAUREL, Md. — A man was carjacked in Laurel after stopping to allow a person using crutches to cross a road. Police are now searching for the trio responsible, including the person with crutches.
According to a police department spokesperson, officers were called to the 500 block of Brock Bridge Road for a report of a carjacking on Nov. 28, just before 1:30 a.m.
The victim told police that he was driving down Brock Bridge Road when a person with crutches tried to cross the road in front of him. When the driver stopped, two suspects, one possibly armed with a shotgun, suddenly appeared from the woods. The driver was reportedly pulled from his car, and all three males left the area in the stolen car.
