CHESAPEAKE, Va. — Chesapeake police arrested two people after a shot was fired inside a KFC restaurant on Monday.
Officers responded to the KFC located at 3148 Western Branch Blvd. after receiving reports that a shot had been fired inside the building. Officers found two suspects nearby, identified as Kaden Ratliff and Billy Ratliff, who were described as uncooperative and showing signs of intoxication.
During the encounter, officers recovered a firearm with a spent round from Kaden Ratliff. A bullet hole was later found inside the restaurant bathroom, police said.
Both suspects were taken into custody after refusing commands and resisting officers.
