Missing high school football coach Travis Turner is facing time behind bars if he is found alive after a weeks-long search.
Turner, 46, was charged with five counts of child pornography and five counts of using a computer to solicit a minor shortly after fleeing his Virginia home on November 20.
The solicitation charge carries “a more serious sentence” of between five to 30 years in prison, prosecutor Bobby Taghavi told the Daily Mail on Wednesday, December 3.
If convicted, Turner would be forced to register as a sex offender, meaning he would no longer be permitted to work as a football coach or physical education teacher.
