VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — After 38 years at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital, maintenance mechanic Anthony White is unveiling his final holiday mural.
White has created the traditional display, located in front of the hospital cafeteria, every year during the holidays. This year’s mural will be his last, as White plans to retire next year.
This year's mural is an adaptation of "A Charlie Brown Christmas."
“When you work in the hospital, you see sick people, stressed employees, but I do my best to change their mood, their expression,” White said. “It's a God-gifted talent that I use to uplift others."
