LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - It’s a WKYT First Alert Weather Day through Friday morning.
A Winter Weather Advisory is out across the south and southeast during this time.
This part of the state is in line for a 1″-3″ snowfall during this time and that will create slick roads in many areas.
Farther north, only pockets of flurries and light snows will show up.
A few flurries are possible into Saturday with cloudy and cold skies. Our next system then zips in on Sunday with a band of light snow and a light mix. That carries us into Monday.
Another arctic plunge is likely before next week is over and that may bring another snow chance or two.
