ROCHESTER, Minn. — Motorists traveling on Highway 52 in Rochester should prepare for potential traffic delays from Wednesday night to Friday morning due to maintenance work, the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) has announced.
MnDOT will replace two overhead digital message signs during the night to reduce traffic disruption. They urge drivers to stay alert, slow down, and move over to ensure the safety of the crews.
From 8 p.m. on December 10 to 6 a.m. on December 11, southbound lanes will be limited to one lane, closing the left three lanes and leaving the right lane open. The work zone stretches from Civic Center Drive to just north of Apache Mall. Once the new sign is installed, the left lanes will reopen, and the right lane will close for walkway adjustments.
