Temperatures are taking a sharp nosedive today, with the coldest readings expected to arrive by midday.

By tonight and into Sunday morning, we're anticipating dangerously cold temperatures and even colder wind chills. The actual lows are expected to be in the single digits, but with the brisk northerly winds, wind chills could easily plunge below zero. A Cold Weather Advisory is in effect for a good portion of our area, highlighting the risk of frostbite and hypothermia for anyone spending extended time outdoors. We advise everyone to take precautions and stay warm.
