A Heat Advisory continues today until 7 p.m. Feel-like temperatures will climb in the triple digits for areas along and south of the interstate.

Mid-Missouri will be dealing with a prolonged stretch of a heat, as the heat continues through the weekend it wears on the body a lot more. Low temperatures in the 70s exacerbate the impact of the heat. Heat kills more people than any other type of weather, and it doesn’t have to be that way.
